About me
I received my Bachelor of Science (2007) and PhD (2012) in Mathematics from University of Florida. My PhD dissertation, which is in the area of mathematical biology, was directed by Sergei Pilyugin. Upon completion of my Ph.D. in 2012, I began a postdoctoral fellowship in the Mathematics Department at University of Ottawa in Canada. Next in 2013, I moved to a postdoctoral professorship in the Mathematics Department at Vanderbilt University. In 2015, I became Assistant Professor in Mathematics at University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
My research interests are in Mathematical Biology, with a focus on applications of dynamical systems to ecology and evolution of infectious diseases.
