Biographical Sketch

Jenita Jahangir was born in Bangladesh and she began her academic career at the University of Dhaka with major in Mathematics. She received her Master in Science in Applied Mathematics 2017 from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. After that, she served as a lecturer for three years and decided to pursued her graduate studies at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2020, receiving another Master of Science in Applied Mathematics in 2024. She completed the requirements for a Doctor of Philosophy in mathematics from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in Spring of 2026.
