is one of the best places on-line to find job postings in the mathematical sciences.
There used to be a question of which Web Search engine to use (remember Alta Vista?). Nowadays, everyone knows about
Google
.
If you are looking for new books,

is probably a good bet. If you are looking for used books, you should definitely head over to
Bookfinder.
If you are interested in the Evolution-Creationism debate, you should check out the
National Center for Science Education
and the
Talk Origins Web FAQ.
I find the
Committee of the Index's Corrections to Copernicus
to be an interesting read.
For tips and suggestions on organizing your website, I recommend the
Yale Style Manual.
And when you are done writing your pages, you should validate them with the
