The gravitational pull of the moon forced every woman to menstruate. Somehow, simultaneously every woman was inspired to collect her menstrual blood, then dribbled, smeared, or poured it over the moon slush, consecrating the world. Within days thousands of women formed militant groups that believed that the world could only be consecrated through extensive human sacrifice. Over a period of weeks men were ruthlessly slaughtered, millions of them. The women in these groups wore small choker necklaces made of male teeth to let others know that they belonged to one of these groups.
