Welcome to SWAMP                           Shallow Water Acoustic Mode Propagation Model

SWAMP is the unique program made by Dr. Natalia Sidirovskaia to calculate the acoustic pressure and transmission losses both for continuous wave and pulse propagation. The program is based on the Normal Mode Method and can be used for the monochromatic spherical source and two different types of the bottom: upslope and downslope. Swamp allows high frequencies (up to 1000 Hz) and depth about 2000-2500 meters.

Here you can find everything you ever wanted to know about SWAMP.
