Visa Information

International participants may require a B-1 (Business Visitor) visa, B-2 (Visitor) visa, or ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) authorization under the Visa Waiver Program. Attendees are responsible for determining the appropriate visa type and applying well in advance of the conference.

Please consult the nearest US embassy or consulate for current requirements and please visit this US Department of State web site for more detailed information (opens in a new window.)

How do I obtain a visa to attend the conference?

The visa application process can take 8 months or more, so we encourage attendees from countries other than the United States to apply for visas as early as possible, but no later than 3 months before they wish to enter the United States. Please note that a visa does not guarantee entry into the United States! Admission to the United States is determined by US Customs and Border Protection at the port of entry.

You may request a letter of invitation by contacting Kumer Das through this email link. Please include the name of the conference (AISC 2026), your full name as it appears on your passport, as well as your gender, date of birth, complete mailing address, passport number and country of issue, phone number, and email address. As noted above, a conference invitation letter does not guarantee visa approval. Furthermore, we are not able to contact US embassies in support of an individual attempting to gain entry into the US to attend the conference.

Please consult the nearest US embassy or consulate for current requirements and please visit this US Department of State web site for more detailed information (opens in a new window.)
