I am an Assistant Professor in Mathematics at University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Previously, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the School of Biological Sciences and School of Mathematics at Georgia Institute of Technology (2014-2016) and in the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at Arizona State University (2016-2017) after receiving my PhD in mathematics in 2014 from University of Florida.

My research includes application and analysis of dynamical systems in mathematical biology, numerical methods for partial differential equations, and data fitting using identifiability, sensitivity, and uncertainty analysis, with particular focus on multi-scale models that connect host-pathogen dynamics across scales.

There are research assistant openings for graduate and undergraduate students and will have a postdoctoral researcher position available for start in Fall 2024 . Please contact me if you are interested.

• Congratulations to Caleb Macdonald! My (former) Ph.D. student not only graduated in May 2022, he also has been awarded a prestigious Zuckerman Postdoctoral Scholarship to work on co-evolution of cultural and ​genetic traits at his new position as Postdoctoral Scholar in the Ram Lab in the School of Zoology at Tel Aviv University in Isreal.
