Jasmin wondered where Gary could be right now. She looked around and wished she could be in his arms instead of this dreadful party among these dreadful people. After this drink she would leave. Gary should be home by now, she wondered. His little wife waiting in the kitchen with a home cooked meal. The children all nestled in their beds, gross. Kerri was nothing special and the kids just a nuisance! It would only be a matter of time before he'd be all her's! Just a matter of time. She felt Frank's slimy hand behind her and wondered if she should take him home. She was running a ltitle short this month. Maybe it's not such a bad idea, she thought. Frank would probably just go to sleep anyway.
Parties were just not fun anymore. Jasmin couldn't get her mind off Gary. How could she let him control her like that...she wasn't supposed to have fallen in love. It just wasn't supposed to happen. Now her thoughts were filled with Gary, Gary, Gary and her nightmares filled with his wife and those children. They were the reason you know. They're the ones to blame!
Oh, Gary, she thought, I miss you. Jasmin emptied her flute but she didn't leave, she held it in front of Frank and winked. Frank smiled and winked back as he filled the flute. Jasmin moved closer to him and whispered,
"You're kind of cute when you're drunk."
