Biology and Mathematics Undergraduate Fellowships
Applications will be taken through Fall of 2008.
Details:
- $5,500 per year ($1400 per semester, plus $2,700 in Summer)
- Two year program
- Two research projects -- Green Treefrogs and Louisiana Irises
- Special coursework:
- One 3-hr course on field techniques and statistics in ecology
- Two 3-hr courses on mathematical modeling and its applications to population biology and ecology
- Two 1-hr seminars on experimental design and modeling
Prerequisites:
- Must be a biology or mathematics major
- Must have taken at least one calculus course
