Activities
- Each
February, I help proctor the Science Olympiad technical writing
competition, "Write It, Do It" with middle and high school students.
- In Summer 2009, I copy-edited the
University's compliance
report for SACS
(Southern Association of Colleges and Schools)
reaccreditation.
- In December 2009, I redesigned the
Department of Modern Languages website, and I continue to assist in maintaining it.
- In April 2010 I redesigned the website for the journal Etudes Francophones, and I continue to assist in maintaining it.
- I serve as Chair of the
English Department's Technical Writing Committee,
which is in charge of improving ENGL 365 through such activities as
selecting the default textbook, choosing the recipient of the Webb
Technical Writing Award, and ensuring compliance with assessment
activities.
